Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, is the oldest university of applied sciences in the Netherlands and the largest in the northern part of the country. New solutions and new approaches are needed on a large scale, and require input from students, teachers and professors. There is an Energy Transition Centre right on Campus (EnTranCe). EnTranCe is an energy testing ground where students, researchers, the industry and the public create solutions for the energy supply of the future. EnTranCe is a joint initiative of Hanze University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Groningen and the Energy Academy Europe.
